Faro East, we firmly believe that wildlife conservation is the main component of our operation's sustainability. Protecting wildlife from poachers, farmers, gold panners, and other intrusions is a constant challenge that we face with determination.
Faro East Safari
Faro East is led by Patrick Dahlan, who was born in Mali and accompanied his father on hunts from a very young age. Although Patrick built a successful academic and business career—graduating as an Electrical Engineer from a top French school and earning an MBA from Harvard Business School—he never abandoned his passion for Africa.
While building his career as an industrial entrepreneur, Patrick also worked as a guide in West and Central Africa, until he took over the Faro East concession in 2004. His unique combination of business education and passion for wildlife is what drives the sustainability of our operations
