Patrick Dahlan, born in Mali, accompanied his father hunting from a very young age. After graduating as an Electrical Engineer from a top French school, he earned his MBA at Harvard Business School and became an entrepreneur. He never abandoned his passion for Africa, taking over the Faro East concession in 2004.

Anti-Poaching Protection

Protecting wildlife from poachers, farmers, and gold panners requires organized anti-poaching teams, solid leadership, and the backing of Cameroonian authorities.

Safari Details

Hunting Experience at Faro East

200,000-acre concession located in North Cameroon (Faro region). The season runs from January until the end of March.

Optimal Infrastructure

600 km of roads graded annually with a tractor, and burnt straw to optimize visibility and safety. A unique terrain bordered by high mountains to the north offers exceptional landscapes and game abundance.

Logistics & Support

Synchronized communications system plus secondary teams and motorcycles for meat extraction, so hunters can rest comfortably in camp instead of waiting in the field.

Important Notes

Package Does Not Include

Airline tickets, visa, and gun permit.
Big game hunting permit: 2,000 EUR per hunter, plus observer fees.
Mineral water (3.5 EUR/bottle). Filtered water is free, safe, and good.
Additional transfers outside the normal schedule (300 EUR).
Meet & greet, customs clearance, hotels and transfers in Douala or Yaoundé.
Personal expenses, tips, and cancellation/travel insurance (repatriation for health, rifles, and luggage).
Trophy fees, community village tax, and dip & pack / trophy shipment to Paris under customs (3,500 EUR per hunting permit + 200 EUR per full-mount skin).
